South Carolina & Georgia Strawberry Production Webinar Series: Fall 2025

Course Description:

This course will open on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025. All required activities must be completed no later than 11/15/25 at 11:59 pm.

In this self-paced, online course, participants will have the opportunity to earn credits towards their pesticide license by successfully completing three different strawberry production trainings. Professionals from South Carolina can earn 1.5 SC core recertification credits. Professionals from Georgia can earn 1 commercial category 21 credit hours and 1 private credit hour. This course is also open to participants who are not seeking pesticide credits.

• Insect Pest Management 
• Forming the Perfect Bed for Fumigation
• Neopestalotiopsis Management 

Course Requirements:

To successfully complete this course you must:

• Watch the full training video presentations for all three topics.
• Complete all knowledge check questions at the end of each training.
• Complete and submit the required form to verify course completion and request pesticide credits.
• All required activities must be completed no later than 11/15/25 at 11:59pm.

Technical Requirements:

To participate fully in this course, you will need:

• An active email address for the individual participating in the course.
• A desktop computer or laptop (recommended): Canvas is available on mobile devices, but some content may appear differently.
• Access to a high-speed internet connection.
• A web browser compatible with Canvas: Chrome and Firefox are recommended.
• Headphones or speakers (closed captioning also available).
• Computer skills including Internet browsing, using email, typing, downloading files, and basic troubleshooting.
